Jean Kaye’s focus is on strategic non-profit business development and growth with a goal of self sustainable futures for all those she works with. Motivating people, and ‘seeing’ fiscal opportunities for advancement seems to be her passion. She loves helping children, and stopping the poverty cycle. For the last 20 years Jean has focused on the building of a successful and innovative non-profit organization, H.E.L.P. International.

Co-Founder, CEO of HELP International

Don has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Accounting, as well as a background in hospital finance. Don is Jean Kaye’s number one support and H.E.L.P.’s financial advisor. Don is a servant, teacher and gifted in many areas. God has equipped him to be what he needs to be in a moment’s notice.
Ronny Sitanga

Country Director

Ronny is a community development worker with a passion for supporting and empowering vulnerable groups, especially children & women- towards self-sustainability.
Ronny oversees all the daily activities of the help project in Uganda. He is a powerful leader and visionary for the help community.
Ronny has a bachelor’s degree in development studies from Makerere University

Lead Social Worker

Ritah is a vital part of the help community for the last eight years. She is a trained social worker with a passion for empowering vulnerable woman and children . She has seen great improvement in the lives of the women and children in this community.
Ritah is excited to see how God will continue to use this project to bring the abundant life to her fellow neighbors and friends.

Ritah holds a bachelor’s degree in social works and social studies.

Richard has been the director of finance for the help community in Uganda for the last 11 year. Richard wants to see the people of Masese thrive. He has enjoyed the privilege H.E.L.P. International has had on Masese, especially the children, young adults, and women. add period after management

Patricia Mukoda

Patricia Mukoda

Social Worker for Sponsored Children

Patricia has served as the Social Worker for Sponsored children at help international for 3 years. She has a passion for advocating and building safeguards for the vulnerable children her community.
She has been working in the field of social work for eight years fighting for the rights of children, tackling youth issues and working to empower women. Social working has provided her many opportunities to bring positive impact to her community of Masese. She loves bring smiles to the faces of the children she serves.
Patricia has a bachelor’s degree in development studies.
Fredrick Ojambo

Fredrick Ojambo

Director of Spiritual Formation

Fredrick oversees the spiritual formation of the HELP community in Uganda. Fredrick is passionate about seeing people experience the abundant life that Jesus has to offer. He is involved in many activities to make sure everyone: the poor, widows and orphans in the Help community feels the love of Jesus.
Fredrick also teaches Mechanics and driving at Help’s Vocational Training Center.
Fredrick has a Masters degree in Theology and Pastoral Ministry, along with a motor vehicle mechanics certificate.
Joan Namusoke

Joan Namusoke

Head Teacher of Help Primary School

Joan has been teaching since she completed her degree in 2001. Her many years of serving as a teacher has made her a strong educator. She is passionate about the work of HELP International through the primary school.
For the past three years Joan has served as the head teacher of Help Primary School. Under her leadership the school has improved in many ways. She had brought unity and commitment among the teachers. Together the staff is working to increase the academic performance of the school as a whole

Peter Garrity

Peter Garrity

HELP Uganda Board of Directors and the Education Committee

Dr. Peter Garrity is a visiting professor at Teachers College, Columbia University where he teaches Theories of Knowing and Learning Mathematics, as well as elementary and secondary mathematics methods courses.

Since 2010, Peter has been a volunteer with HELP Uganda. He provides professional development and helps with the overall organization of the school. He works closely with the teaching staff to align curriculum with Ugandan standards and improve instructional strategies. In 2017 Peter and his student, Chris Martin, developed a microfinance program. With the guidance of the Uganda team the model has brought financial strength to the community.

Kate is a primary and preschool educator who holds a masters degree in childhood education and a Masters Degree in library science, both from St. John’s University. Kate’s involvement with HELP International Uganda started in 2015. She has become passionate about bringing educational opportunities to the children of Masese, as well as help to provide support to the entire community. Kate lives with her husband in New York, and has two grown daughters.

Delia Garrity

HELP Uganda Board of Directors and the Education Committee

Delia Garrity was a public school educator for 37 years. She has a BA and MS in Math Education and a Professional Diploma in Educational Leadership.

Since 2010, Delia has worked as a volunteer for HELP Uganda. Delia offers professional development training for teachers and works with the women of Masese bead cooperative. She serves on the project’s Board of Directors and the Education Committee. She raises awareness about H.E.L.P.’s work and actively fundraisers for the project through presentations and bead sales.

Pam & Bruce Mccormick

Pam & Bruce Mccormick

Co-Directors Uganda Projects

Pam is a teacher, small business owner, and author. She has a Bachelor’s in Elementary Education. Bruce worked at Avago Technologies. He has an associates degree in electronics, and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Networking.

Since 2005, Pam and Bruce have worked as volunteers for HELP Uganda. Pam helped start the original school in of Masese. Currently much of her time is spent selling Ugandan jewelry to raise funds for the project. Bruce is an important part of the construction team at HELP Uganda. He is also working to bring computers to the school and neighboring area.

Renee Jelinik  and John Jelinik

Renee Jelinik and John Jelinik

Jon and Renee Jelinek own and operate several businesses in Cheyenne, WY and Ft Collins, CO. They bring experience in business operations, marketing and the arts, combined with their mission of philanthropy. They have traveled to Uganda three times with their son, and helped launch Zendia’s House there. Renee also operates the online store for Bigger Than Beads.

Heath Armstrong

Heath Armstrong

Heath Armstrong initially visited the school in 2017 to help a friend with a research project on the development of young women and sports in society. Through meeting Arthur and his work, Heath fell in love with the idea of digitally expanding education at the school and within the community. He has since spearheaded the expansion of the sponsorship program and fundraising platform.

Ally Whittemore

Ally Whittemore

Ally has a Bachelor of Arts- teacher preparation. She has had the privilege of working with different nonprofit groups, and churches over the years. Ally deeply loves HELP International and the project in Uganda. She enjoys working closely with the Ugandan staff to establish internal processes. Her passion is to empower the local church to meet the needs of those most vulnerable in their own community with sustainable solutions.
